Luvutsi quits Bandari FC

Michale Luvutsi has left Kenya Premier League side Bandari FC, after two seasons with the Mombasa-based side.

His contract with the Dockers ran out, and with the club not opting to table him a new offer, he chose to leave in search of fresh challenges.

“I have enjoyed my stay with the club but it was time to move on. I wish to thank the club, management and teammates for the time we spent together and wish them all the best in future,” Luvutsi said as quoted by Passion Sports,

“I am now eager for a fresh challenge and have several offers already. I will take my time to review and make a decision that will be good for me. That is very crucial at the moment," he added.

Bandari, who are currently camping in South Africa had a good season in the 2018/19 Kenya Premier League, where they finished second behind winners Gor Mahia.

They also won the Sportpesa Shield after beating Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 in the finals and will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
