Napsa Stars head coach Mohammed Fathi believes Luka Lungu has the elements required to become a very good coach.
Fathi and his technical bench have decided to elevate Luka Lungu to a player-coach. Fathi repealed that he was going to help Luka with his transition from playing to coaching.
“He has good elements of a coach, he understands the game and he will still be with the team till the end of this season so that we can help him transition,” he said.
“I wish him all the best and what I can advise him now is that he should keep upgrading himself and be patient because coaching is different from playing,” he added.
Luka will be Geoffrey Hamakwende's assistant coach at Napsa Stars youth team, Young Napsa Stars which is currently playing in the FAZ Division Two league.
