Posta Rangers is the latest club to raid Sony Sugar with the Awendo based side losing utility man Michael Apudo to the John Kamau coached side.
Sony has been losing players since the departure of head coach Patrick Odhiambo who moved to Gor Mahia as an assistant coach; the club said to be struggling financially.
Players who have so far left Sony include Derrick Otanga and Kevin Omondi who have both moved to Wazito FC, Tobias Otieno and Abdalla Shura who moved with Odhiambo to Gor Mahia among others.
Apart from Apudo, Rangers have moved swiftly to acquire the services of Mount Kenya United midfielder Leroy Otieno.
Rangers did not have a good last season and were forced to play in the KPL/NSL Playoff to secure their top-flight status at the expense of Nairobi Stima.
Rangers will hope that the additions give them the much-needed boost not to scrap through relegation in the coming season.
Rangers begin their season with a tie against Sofapaka at the Kenyatta Stadium Machakos on August 31st. A tie against Kakamega Homeboyz follows before taking Western Stima and Bandari FC and newbies Kisumu All Stars in their first five games.
