Napsa Stars in Livingstone for two week preseason
Super League side Napsa Stars are currently Livingstone for a two weeks training Camp. The Pensioners have started their preparations for the 2019/2020 season.
Head coach Mohammed Fathi explained that he picked Livingstone because it was a destination many teams preferred making it easy to arrange friendly matches. He also praised the level of facilities available in the area.
"Livingstone is a good environment. A lot of clubs like to come here and the facilities are good. The town is also near Zimbabwe meaning we can invite one or two clubs, " he said.
"We will have six weeks preseason with this two weeks being used for Physical training. The other four weeks we will be more on tactical, " he added.
Fathi also revealed that he was in the market looking for defenders and strikers as he looks to boost his squad ahead of the 2019/2020 season.
"Our midfield is okay but we need to reinforce our defense and our strike force. The coming season will be very competitive. We will be ready for the 2019/2020 season," he said.
Napsa finished fifth in Stream B failing short of a Continental slot with Green Eagles and Buildcon finishing first and second in the Stream.
