Harambee Stars second choice keeper Farouk Shikhalo has confirmed that he is leaving Bandari FC after two seasons with the coastal side.
In a post on his Facebook account, Shikhalo posted: “It’s been two great seasons with lots of achievements and lessons learned along the way.
“I just want to say a big thank you to the Bandari Management, Technical bench, players and coastal fans at large for the tremendous support they have given me for the time I have spent at the club.
“I wish you more success in the future.”
The keeper is said to have signed a deal with Tanzania giants Yanga SC during his time with Harambee Star in Egypt.
Before moving to Bandari, Shikhalo represented FC Talanta, Tusker FC, Muhoroni Youth and Posta Rangers in the Kenyan scene.
His move to Yanga has forced Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne to omit him from his squad that will be preparing to face Tanzania in the 2020 CHAN qualifiers.
