Green Eagles coach Aggrey Chiyangi believes facing Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia will help his side prepare for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
Chiyangi says his team is Rwanda to play against the best teams in the CECAFA region. He is confident his team can eliminate Mahia and qualify to the semifinals.
"It's a very interesting game, We know that we are playing Gor Mahia and they have been playing in Continental games for a long time meaning they have got some experience. Our coming here was to play the best teams here and Gor Mahia is one of the best teams playing them will help us prepare for CAF, " he said.
"I feel happy for now but I know we can still do better than we have done because I can see how the team is growing and maturing. If we do our best we can go further, " he added.
Eagles will face Gor Mahia on Wednesday at 16:00 hrs in the quarter-finals and should they make it to the semifinals they will face the winner between APR and AS Maniema.
