Gor Mahia bowed out of the CECAFA Kagame Cup after a 1-2 loss to Zambian outfit Green Eagles in the quarter-finals hurdle on Wednesday 17th July at the Nyamirambo Regional Stadium.
K'Ogalo opened the scoring in the second minute through Nicholas Kipkirui who chipped the ball over the keeper after a long pinged pass from Harun Shakava in their own half. It did not take Eagles a lot of time before they pulled level as six minutes later Tapson Kaseba capitalized on a defensive mixup.
Shadrack Mulungwe's goal in the 69th minute was the match-winner as Eagles booked a date with KCCA from Uganda in the semi-finals.
