CHAN 2020 Qualifiers: Larry Bwalya and Kelvin Mubanga make final squad for Botswana clash
Larry Bwalya and Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba have been named in coach Aggrey Chiyangi's final 20 man squad for next Friday’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) first leg encounter against Botswana in Francistown. The duo was roped into the squad after initially being overlooked.
Chipolopolo Team Manager Desmond M’ngawa released the list to FAZ media which was accessed by Futaa Zambia. Chiyangi has retained the majority of his COSAFA Cup-winning squad with only Larry and Kelvin being included to replace Austin Muwowo and Lazarus Kambole who have moved to Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs respectively.
Zambia will start the two-legged tie against Botswana away in Francistown on July 26 before hosting the Zebras on August 3 at the National Heroes Stadium. The winner over two legs will play either Angola or eSwatini in the final qualifying round for the Cameroon 2020 CHAN.
