Nigerian midfielder Mikel Agu has joined Portuguese Primeira Liga club Vitória de Guimaraes on a three-year contract from FC Porto.
Vitória de Guimaraes announced that it has reached an agreement with FC Porto for the transfer of the 26-year-old midfielder.
Mikel Agu already trained with the squad under manager Ivo Vieira's instructions on Thursday morning.
His contract will valid until 2022, with the Victorian club holding 50% of its economic rights.
The contract also includes a termination clause in the amount of 10 million euros.
The 26-year-old officially joined Porto in 2011 and made two appearances for their first team but was a key player for the B team who play in the second tier of Portuguese football.
He was loaned out to Club Brugge, Vitória de Setúbal and Bursaspor due to his lack of first-team opportunities.
