Napsa Stars head coach Muhammad Fathi has expressed happiness with the way his two weeks of preseason training panned out in Livingstone.
Fathi believes by the fourth week of the teams' preseason training the direction they are taking will clearly show. The Egyptian born gaffer says they (Napsa Stars) are working on having a very good 2019/2020 season.
"It was a very good two weeks. We were aiming at improving the physical condition of the players and also some tactics. We will continue working on the technique and tactics when we go back to Lusaka. Preseason is six weeks and we have already done about two so by the fourth week we will have a good direction. We want to have a good season 2019/2020," he said.
"I have seen a lot of good talent in Livingstone and they have given us a good reception and the coaches are very co-operative. It was worth it," he added.
Napsa spent the last two weeks in the Tourist Capital and played four friendly matches. The Pensioners beat Livingstone Select and Blue Arrows 4-0 and 1-0 respectively.
They drew the other two games nil-all with Pirates and 1-1 with Zesco Victoria Falls.
