Ahead of their International Champions Cup clash against Manchester United on Thursday 25th July, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has revealed that they will take the fixture seriously.
Spurs are coming from a morale-boosting 3-2 win over Juventus in their opening game of the competition courtesy of a stunning last-minute goal from Harry Kane. United head into the friendly with a perfect record of their own this summer, having beaten Inter Milan 1-0 in Singapore which was preceded by wins over Perth Glory and Leeds United.
Speaking ahead of the game Alli fired a warning to United, "We want to challenge ourselves against the top sides and Man United's a great team. It's another challenge and we keep preparing for the start of the season.
"But like the game you saw the other day against Juventus, we took it very seriously and we're going to take this game serious and make sure we put in a good performance."
