Turkish club Besiktas are reportedly set to prepare a new offer for the transfer of Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala.
Mangala initially joined the Premier League champions back in 2014 in a world-record fee of £42 million at the time.
However, reports claim that the 28-year-old has been sidelined by manager Pep Guardiola - where he has managed to make a mere 15 appearances for the club - and unsuccessful loans at Valencia and Everton respectively (via Sports Mole).
Turkish newspaper Star is of the belief that Besiktas will set up a new bid for Mangala who is said to be left with just a year on his Manchester City contract.
As speculation goes, manager Abdullah Avci is reportedly seeking a left-footed defender who will come on to replace Nicolas Isimat Mirin who is set to depart from the club - with links to Amiens in Ligue 1.
Mangala was not part of City's squad that toured Asia in their preseason preparations which should confirm that the Frenchman is on his way out of the club.
