According to All Nigeria Soccer reports, Belgian First Division A club Racing Genk have given FC Midtjylland an ultimatum to sell Paul Onuachu within a week.
Further reports claim that Genk made an offer for the Nigeria international but the Danish Superliga outfit had initially rejected the Belgian side.
The Belgian champions are willing to acquire Onuachu for six million euros but FC Midtjylland have put a twelve million euros price tag on the striker's head.
''There is no ultimatum. But it goes without saying that we now want clarity quickly,'' says Dimitri De Condé, sports director at KRC Genk, to Het Belang van Limburg.
''If the deal does not come through, then we have to explore other routes. We want to know where we stand within a week."
Onuachu, who has not played for FC Midtjylland this season, featured for the Super Eagles squad during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
