Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has once again hinted that Mason Greenwood might have a major role to play at Old Trafford this season.
The youngster impressed for the club towards the end of last season and was once again the star of the show during the club's pre-season tour.
Solskjaer believes Greenwood is a 'better finisher' compared to both Marcus Rashford and Antony Martial, two of his 'natural' strikers at the club this season.
United sold Lukaku in the summer transfer window but did not buy to replace him, with Greenwood considered Rashford's backup.
"Natural finisher? Well, they've still got a way to go, because Mason's more of a natural finisher than those two," Ole Gunnar told MUTV.
"Anthony's had spells where he's played No.9 or center-forward under Louis van Gaal. Then he's played on the left the last few years. I think him and Marcus are both capable of playing both positions.
”Sometimes, it will be Marcus playing through the middle and Anthony on the left, or Dan James on the left and one of them on the right, but, of course, the goals are scored from between the posts and not the worldies that we've seen them score, both of them,"
United will be in action on Monday night away to Wolves, as they hope to build on their 4-0 win over Chelsea on the opening day.
