Nigeria's U-20 national team has a bright chance of qualifying from the group stage of the All Africa Games men's football event taking place in Rabat, Morocco.
On Tuesday, Nigeria beat South Africa 2-1 to top Group A on four points after playing a 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso in their opening match.
The Flying Eagles took a first half lead, thanks to a Collins Sor's 30th minute strike, but there are still more to come from both teams.
South Africa levelled up after half time through Ofentse Mashiane in the 56th minute as the tempo of the game rise.
Nigeria coach Paul Aigbogun knew the importance of the game, and made a double substitution, bringing on Success Makanjuola and Chinonso Emeka for Collins Sor and Saeed Jibril respectively.
That substitution paid off as Nigeria got the winner less than 15 minutes from time when Ghali Ahmad scored from an assist by Ibrahim Abubakar.
