Paris Saint Germain coach Thomas Tuchel has indicated Neymar will not feature for the club again at least until his future has been sorted out.
The Brazilian has not featured for the Ligue 1 champions this season despite being fit, with transfer rumours linking him to Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's league match against Toulouse, Tuchel said the attacker is fit enough and trained with the rest of the squad through the week, but might not feature.
"Neymar is in better shape," Tuchel said. "He has had a good week with his teammates, working hard with intensity and a good mentality," he said.
He added: "However, the club's position is clear: while his situation is unclear, he cannot play. If Neymar's situation became clear tomorrow, then he could play,"
"Yes, the Neymar situation is unsettling, but it also is not," he said. "Yes, because we talk about it a lot. A player like him always stirs up interest in today's football.
The two Spanish giants are embroiled in a tug-of-war for Neymar's signature, with both sides said to be keen on including players in their deals.
Neymar has grown disillusioned at the club and was said to be unwilling to play again this season as he holds for a transfer.
It remains to be seen what the next action will be, with the European transfer set to shut in under a week's time.
