Wales winger Daniel James has been named as the Manchester United best player in the month of August.
The player who joined United from Swansea in the summer beat off competition from fellow new signings Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire who both joined the club from Crystal Palace and Leicester City respectively.
James got 61% of the total votes cast with right back Bissaka coming second with 36%. Harry Maguire was a distant third with 3%.
James has made a blistering start to life at United scoring within minutes of coming on as a substitute against Chelsea in his competitive debut and scored a sublime equalizer against Crystal Palace in his next outing at Old Trafford.
He then rifled home a superb opener at Southampton, making it three in four Premier League appearances, and was named Man of the Match by United fans.
McTominay was the final recipient of the award last term.
