🇿🇦 📝Banyana star makes history with Milan move

South African women’s midfielder Refiloe Jane has signed for Italian giants AC Milan.

The 27-year-old’s move from Australia’s Canberra United to Seria A was announced by Milan via Twitter late last night.

Jane, who started her career in South Africa at Vaal University of Technology and later Mamelodi Sundowns, is fresh from making the history of earning 100 caps for Banyana Banyana at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France this year.

“Welcome Refiloe Jane,” was Milan’s simple announcement.

Jane could possibly make her first Serie A appearance against Napoli on Saturday and will become the first-ever South African woman to play her football in Italy.
