Manchester City are set to sign Slobodan Tedic from FC Cukaricki during the January transfer window according to club’s director of football Nenad Mirosavljevic.
The director of football has revealed City have been scouting the Serbian ace ‘for a long time’ but it did not take long for the two parties to agree on a deal for the teenager.
"He's been on City's radar for a long time with scouts often coming to see him," he said as quoted by Manchester News.
"There have been games where we didn't even know they were in the stands. They watched all of his games, his every move, which is quite normal for the world's biggest clubs.
"When they officially contacted us, we easily and quickly agreed. This is a confirmation of our good work, but also the best possible marketing for Cukaricki, and for Serbian football in general."
According to reports, City part ways with £2.7m to land the 19-year-old in January 2020, although he could allegedly remain with Cukaricki for the rest of the season. He has netted four goals in nine appearances for Cukaricki this season.
