Italy international and Juventus defender Mattia de Sciglio was reportedly on the verge of completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Calciomercato reported.
Juventus were said to be keen on selling many of their players to maximise profit - Emre Can, Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic were already on the market and that meant Mattia de Sciglio was set for a move away.
Transfers' expect Fabrizio Romano reported that De Sciglio was incredibly close to joining the Ligue 1 outfit.
PSG reportedly made a move for the 26-year-old, 24 hours before the European transfer window closed, even attempting to include Thomas Meunier in the offer Juventus' were believed to be too high.
Despite the deal falling through, De Sciglio has affirmed that he will remain in Italy and fight for his place with new signing Danilo already in the mix.
