After bagging the Golden Boot gong for two successive seasons, Real Madrid are set to offer Liverpool €210million for Mohamed Salah should they fail to win any silverware this season.
Liverpool had a memorable season after lifting their sixth UEFA Champions League crown and finishing runner's up in the English Premier League race, just a point below Manchester City. According to Don Balon, a Spanish weekly sports magazine, should the Reds fail to lift any silverware this season, Real Madrid are ready to bid for Salah.
Don Balon are however synonymus with inaccurate transfer news and the move looks almost impossible due to Liverpool not being able to get a direct replacement for Salah in the market currently. The Reds were linked with Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window but it would prove a tough ask to rope him in from Paris Saint Germain.
