  • Absa Premiership Futaa report
  • AmaZulu 0-2 Kaizer Chiefs
  • 24 September 2019
  • King Zwelithini Stadium, Durban.

Chiefs are back on the top of the league. Amakhosi traveled to Durban to claim a 2-0 win over the winless Usuthu.

In what were two late goals, substitute Leonardo Castro found the opener on 84 minutes. The Colombian found a rebound from Lebohang Manyama’s free-kick.

Just as the game looked like it would end 1-0, Chiefs found the final blow on 90 minutes.

The game’s man of the match, Kearyn Baccus created a perfect set up for Billiat. The Zimbabwean forward, having missed two clear chances in the game, did superbly to compose himself one-on-one with the keeper.

The victory sees the Glamour Boys leapfrog Polokwane City at the top, while AmaZulu remain rock bottom without a single win this season.

Amakhosi next take on Baroka FC at home. AmaZulu will travel to Pretoria to face SuperSport United.
