Juventus to attempt offloading Mattia Perin again in the January transfer window

Serie A side Juventus were reportedly working hard behind the scenes to ship out Mattia Perin but that didn't materialise in the end according to Sport Witness.

According to reports, the goalkeeper has fallen out of favour at the club and Juventus are aiming to offload his wages to another player.

Aston Villa were heavily linked with Perin during the summer transfer window as they were looking to sign a new keeper as they had been promoted to the Premier League and the Italian media had been confident the move would happen.

Il Bianconero have now revealed that Juventus are hoping Villa reignite their interest including Sporting Lisbon and AS Monaco ahead of the January window.

However, Villa acquired the services of Tom Heaton from Burnley and it seems like that move will likely not happen - it is yet to be seen which clubs will come forward for Perin.
