CAF CC: Zanaco ease past Bolton to progress to playoffs

Sensational Zanaco has progressed to the CAF Confederation Cup playoff round following a 3-0 bashing of Bolton City Youth football club of Mauritius.

The bankers came into the match with a 2-1 first-leg advantage and were the favorites to carry the day. The bankers started strong and were creating a lot of chances but had to wait for the 25th minute to take the lead as Emmanuel Okutu finished off a Jimmy Nakena pass.

In the second stanza, Giuly Manziba finished off a Tafadzwa Rusike pass to double the lead and make it 4-1 on aggregate. Substitute Damiano Kola finished off an Enerst Mbewe cross in style to seal a three-nil win to guide Zanaco to the playoffs with a 5-1 aggregate win.
