Ulinzi Stars have been handed a major injury blow with goalkeeper James Saruni set to be on the sidelines for up to four weeks.
Ulinzi confirmed the news via their Facebook page where they revealed Saruni will be out for a month as the goalkeeper continues to recover from a knee injury he suffered.
“Our skipper James [Saruni] will be out for four weeks as he recovers from an ankle injury,” a post read on the club's official Facebook page.
The injury means Saruni will miss matches against today's opponent Western Stima including two matches against KCB and Tusker. Away trip to AFC Leopards could be too soon for the shot-stopper but could be available when his side hosts Bandari at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru on November 9, 2019.
