๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆโœŒ๐Ÿพ How Chiefs will look at this weekendโ€™s Macufe Cup

Kaizer Chiefs travel to Bloemfontein for the 2019 Macufe Cup and the event is a special opportunity to both Free State fans and the club’s struggling players.

The annual Macufe Cup is essentially a friendly game, hence the reason it falls within the FIFA International break. Therefore we can best be certain we will not be seeing Ernst Middendorp’s team that is currently leading the Absa Premiership.

But who exactly will be out for who?

Players we think will be rested:

Daniel Akpeyi, Daniel Cardoso, George Maluleka, Benard Parker, Lebogang Manyama, Kearyn Baccus, Samir Nurkovic and Khama Billiat.

Players on national duty:

  • Eric Mathoho
  • Happy Mashiane (U23s)
  • Siyabonga Ngezana (U23s)
  • Lazarous Kambole (Zambia).

Players who’ll get a run:

Bruce Bvuma, Karabo Molefe, Lorenzo Gordinho, Njabulo Blom, Philani Zulu, James Kotei, Yagan Sasman, Willard Katsande (expected captain), Siphelele Ntshangase, Kabelo Mahlasela, Joseph Molangoane, Dumisani Zuma, Leonardo Castro and Sizwe Twala.

Here’s our predicted line up:

Bvuma, Blom, Gordinho, Sasman, Zulu, Ntshangase, Kotei, Zuma, Molangoane, Twala, Castro.

Make sure to catch the game on Saturday at 15:00 from the Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein.
