Juan Mata lauds Paul Pogba despite current injury concerns

Manchester United midfielder, Juan Mata has rained praise down on Paul Pogba despite an ankle injury he has been struggling with since August.

Since starting in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal, Pogba failed to feature in the 0-0 draw against AZ Alkmaar and the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United. The Frenchman also picked up an injury in the 1-1 draw against Southampton back in September and has traveled to Dubai to quicken his recovery.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Mata spoke highly of Pogba ahead of his book launch on Saturday "Suddenly A Footballer", "Paul is genuinely a great guy. He's positive towards life and he's positive towards football. He's injured now but his attitude is good.

"As a midfielder, I've spoken many times about him, he's very complete as a player. For every club he would be very important, and for us he is very important."

Pogba might be back for United ahead of their clash against Liverpool on Sunday 20th October.
