Liverpool are set to welcome goalkeeper Alisson Becker when they travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in an English Premier League match on Sunday.
The Brazilian has been out of action for two months now, having torn his calf muscle in the opening fixture of the season against Norwich City at Anfield.
Alisson has been recuperating from the start of mid-September, with coach Jurgen Klopp indicating he would not rush his return.
The club has however not missed his services much, with stand-in goalkeeper Adrián San Miguel doing exceptionally well, leading the Reds to eight straight wins in the league so far.
His return will, however, boost the team overall, having been one of the main cogs in Liverpool's near-perfect campaign that ended in a Champions League title win.
He was also named the best goalkeeper from last season, further underlining his importance for the side ever since joining from AS Roma at the start of last season.
Liverpool head to Old Trafford aiming for a ninth victory and will be buoyed by the fact that they are unbeaten in the league in eight matches.
Their opponents, on the other hand, are having a nightmarish campaign, and lie 12th on the log on nine points after eight matches.
