It was another week of league action for Harambee Stars foreign-based players across different nations for their respective clubs. 

In Sweden, left-back Eric Ouma amassed full minutes as IF Vasalunds lost 3-1 to hosts Akpolis in the Swedish Division One league. In the game, there was a return from injury for winger Ochieng Ovella though he could only make the bench.

Still, in Sweden, midfielder Eric Omondi managed 90 minutes to help IF Bromma rise from the relegation zone to 13th on the league log following their 2-1 win over Dalkurd on Saturday.

Joseph Okumu will hope he will amass more minutes on Monday night when IF Elfsborg takes on Orebro in week 28 of league action.

Michael Olunga

In Japan, it was another game for striker Michael Olunga without a goal as Kashiwa Reysol emerged 3-0 winners over JEF United in a Japanese J2 League to consolidate their top spot.

In China, winger Ayub Timbe was another player who completed the entire minutes as Beijing Renhe fell by a solitary goal to Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League; a result that saw the team plunge deeper into the relegation zone.

In England, Stars captain Victor Wanyama didn’t even make it to the bench as Tottenham Hotspurs was held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Watford FC on Saturday.

Still, in Zambia, goalkeeper Ian Otieno started and finished the game as Red Arrows walked away with the entire points in their 2-0 win over Mufulira Wanderers on a weekend where defenders Haroun Shakava, Musa Mohammed and midfielder Duncan Otieno all featured as Nkana FC was held to a 2-2 draw by Kabwe Warriors.
