Chelsea have been urged to re-sign their ex-defender Nathan Ake from AFC Bournemouth by their scout Pier de Visser.
Ake joined Bournemouth from Chelsea in 2017 for a reported fee of £20m after struggling to secure a starting role in the Blues team after coming from the club's academy. Since Frank Lampard took over as the manager, the West London club have back their youth stars to play and De Visser believes Ake should be there alongside them.
"Ake should have played for Chelsea by now. He's so good," he told De Volkskrant.
"How often does he not score with his head? He has timing and insight. I hope they buy him back. That boy is perfect for them and he has played with Lampard."
The 24-yea-old was a star of the same Chelsea youth side as Andreas Christensen and Ruben Loftus-Cheek that won the U21 development league in 2014.
