Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more than 700 goals in his football career but has finally revealed the best of the bunch.
The Juventus star believes his brilliant overhead-kick against his current employers in the Champions League in 2018 while still in the books of Real Madrid will go down as his favorite.
Speaking in an interview with France Football, via the Evening Standard, Ronaldo stated: “If you ask me to choose (a favorite), I would say the goal against Juventus because it’s a goal I’ve been trying to score for years.”
Ronaldo has scored some pretty incredible goals over the years, with two of these being his free-kick against Arsenal in 2009 and his solo effort vs Espanyol in 2016.
The forward is expected to pick the Ballon d’Or award later this year after leading Portugal to the Nations Cup triumph months ago.
He still continues to shine for his club in the Serie A but is being used sparingly by manager Maurizio Sarri in a bid to have the best out of him.
He was rested in their weekend game against Leece but is expected to feature this coming week when they take on Genoa on Wednesday.
