Lwandamina named National team technical advisor

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed Zesco United head coach George Lwandamina as the new Chipolopolo Technical Advisor.

FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala confirmed the development in a statement made available to Futaa Zambia. Kashala said the move was aimed at improving Zambia's chances of qualifying to the 2021 Africa Cup of nations.

“In view of the high profile international engagements coming up for the Senior National Team, we have decided to re-enforce our technical bench to ensure that we use the best available resource in our chase for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.”

Kashala also revealed that the National Team technical bench will be beefed up with the presence of a video analyst and physical trainer in due time.

Zambia plays Algeria away on November 14 in Blida and hosts Zimbabwe on November 19 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
