CAF CC: Zanaco target first-half goals

Sensational Zanaco head coach Numba Mumamba says his team is targeting scoring first-half goals to kill off their CAF Confederation Cup playoff tie against Cano Sports.

Numba is, however, cautious as he expects a tough game from the Equatorial Guinean club.

"This team was in the Champions League and we saw how they played in the first Leg in Equatorial Guinea, we will not have it easy. It is not a push over the team but we have done our part on the preparations," he said.

"We will play an offensive game like we did in Malabo and make sure that we get quick goals in the first half."

His counterpart Casto Nopo is full of praise for the bankers and their experience. Nopo expects a tough encounter but says his side will give it everything.

"It's not going to be easy for us but we're going to try to win the match," he said.

"Zanaco is a very big team with a lot of experience both in their local league and CAF Competition."

The Bankers carry a 3-1 advantage from the first leg. Sensational Zanaco hosts Cano S.A at National Heroes Stadium, Zambia this afternoon at 15:00 hours.
