Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko experienced the wrath of their fans after they allegedly stormed the team bus following a dismal exit from the CAF Confederation Cup, Ghanasoccernet reported.
The fans who made the journey to Abidjan with the team for the second leg of the Confederation Cup were left reeling after Kotoko exited the competition and called for head coach Kjetil Zachariassen's head.
Kotoko suffered a 2-0 defeat (2-1 aggregate) at the hands of San Pedro on Sunday, November 3 putting an end to their dismal run in Africa.
The side also played the entirety of the game with ten men after fullback Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was sent off after accumulating two yellow cards in one game.
Kotoko kickstarted their campaign in the CAF Champions League where they lost to Etoile Sahel of Tunisia in the first round which saw them dropping to the Confederation Cup.
