Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo is eager to make his home debut for Nigeria when they host Benin in a 2021 AFCON qualifier.
The match is scheduled for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Wednesday.
Aribo has played two international matches for the Super Eagles but both were not in Nigeria.
The 23-year-old scored a goal each in those two games against Ukraine in Dnipro and Brazil in Singapore.
And the former Charlton Athletic star can’t wait to play his first home game and enjoy the atmosphere.
"It is always good to be part of the international squad, it is an honour to represent my country,” Aribo told Rangers TV.
“I’m just happy to be part of the team and I can’t wait to go out there [Uyo] to play”.
Aribo has scored one goal and recorded four assists in 10 Scottish Premier League appearances for Rangers this season.
