πŸ‡¬πŸ‡βš½ Johnson Smith appointed as Asante Kotoko interim coach

Former Karela United head coach Johnson Smith has been appointed as Asante Kotoko's interim coach following the exit for Norwegian tactician Kjetil Zachariassen.

Ghanasoccernet revealed that Smith who had been the assistant coach since October 2015 will replace Zachariassen until they found a suitable candidate for the role.

The Norwegian failed to meet his mandate after Kotoko were knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup following a defeat to San Pedro in Ivory Coast.

This came after they were demoted from the Caf Champions League following a loss to Tunisian giants, Etoile du Sahel.
