Despite being nine points behind log leaders Liverpool, Gabriel Jesus insists that Manchester City can still bag their third consecutive English Premier League title.
Last season City overturned Liverpool's seven-point lead at the turn of the year to claim the title by a single point.
With 26 games left to the end of the season, Jesus claims that City could still win the league, "There are 26 matches left and that’s a long way out even to think who will win the Premier League.
"Liverpool are playing really well. They were beaten only once last season, but we will take them on and keep fighting for the title again.
"We will try to do our maximum and we will recover. We know we have the capacity to do this. Obviously, we want to win the championship."
City also pipped Liverpool to the Premier League crown in 2014 when Brendan Rodgers’s side were in control with just three games remaining.
