New Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has arrived at his new station with a new backroom staff following his appointment on Wednesday.
Mourinho has made fellow Portuguese Joao Sacramento his new assistant manager; Sacramento has joined the North London side from French Ligue One side Lille where he held the same position under Christophe Galtier.
Sacramento is seen as a valuable addition in Mourinho’s team having previously worked as a technical assistant under Leonardo Jardim at Monaco, before moving to Lille in January 2017. Portuguese goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos will also join Tottenham from Lille.
With the entire Pochettino backroom staff sent home, Mourinho is coming in with his own team and other than Sacramento, Carlos Lalin will become Spurs’ new fitness trainer with Giovanni Cerra joining the analysis team; Ricardo Formoshino joining the club as a scout.
Apart from Pochettino, Tottenham sacked assistant Jesus Perez, first-team coach Miguel D’Agostino and goalkeeping coach Toni Jimenez.
