Ghana international Daniel Amartey is reportedly close to leaving English Premier League club Leicester City as it gets closer to the January transfer window.
Amartey has not made any appearances for Leicester since manager Brendan Rodgers took over the reins after three seasons with Scottish Premiership side Celtic.
However, according to Ghanasoccernet, Amartey has been attracting interest from clubs in Turkey who are believed to be keen on acquiring his signature.
One of the clubs he has been heavily linked with Trabzonspor, reportedly due to fellow Ghanaian Caleb Ekuban talking to management about a possible move for him.
The 24-year-old is one versatile player who can play at full-back, central defence as well as midfield which will come in handy as John Mike Obi and Ogenyi Onazi are still nursing long term injuries.
Amartey signed with Leicester City from FC Copenhagen for a fee of £5million and he still has two years remaining on his contract at King Power.
