๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ—บ Euro Roundup: Title races heating up in Spain, Italy & Germany while PSG's deadly trio are at it again

It seems as though Liverpool is over the hill and far away in the Premier League title race after man City's defeat in the Manchester Derby.

However, things are a little tighter in some of Europe's other big leagues. Here's a wrap of what went down on the weekend and the title implications of all the big talking points.

🇮🇹 Lazio 3-1 Juventus

It all started so well for Juventus, who took the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo on 25 minutes. Lazio was level just before the break and after Juan Cuadrado's 69th-minute dismissal, the hosts made their numerical superiority count, raining shots down on Wojciech Szczęsny in the Juventus goal. Lazio moves to third, just three points behind Juve.

🇪🇸 Barcelona 5-2 Mallorca

Lionel Messi capped off a magical weekend on a personal level by hitting a sublime hat-trick to steer Barcelona to a 5-2 win over Mallorca. Luis Suarez also got in on the act with a cheeky backheel, but it was Messi's night, the Argentinian has now scored 35 hat-tricks in LaLiga, the most in history. Critically, it's one more than Cristiano Ronaldo bagged for Real Madrid.

🇩🇪 Mönchengladbach 2-1 Bayern

Another title test for Bayern Munich and it's another one that they resoundingly failed. Ivan Perisic gave the visitors the lead just after the break, but Algerian defender Ramy Bensebaini struck on the hour mark and then deep into stoppage time from the penalty spot to condemn ten-man Bayern to another defeat. Only seven points separate Bayern in 7th and Mönchengladbach at the summit of the Bundesliga. This should be a thrilling title race.

🇫🇷 Montpellier 1-3 PSG

The French champions had to come from behind after a Leandro Paredes own goal and ultimately, their fire-power was too much for Montpellier to handle. Three goals inside a seven-minute blitz from superstar trio Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi made the points safe. Thomas Tuchel's men are now five points clear with a game in hand and no-one will catch them. The focus now shifts to the Champions League, a competition they're desperate to win.

Tonight, struggling London clubs West Ham and Arsenal will square off in a derby at the London Stadium.
