Following their 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Jose Mourinho has revealed he 'learned a lot' about his Tottenham Hotspur players especially Juan Foyth.
With both teams having sealed qualification to the knockout stages of the competition before kick-off, the match was dead rubber but that did not prevent Bayern from registering a win.
Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller, and Philippe Coutinho scored for the Bavarians while Ryan Sessegnon found the back of the net for Spurs.
Harry Kane, Dele Alli, and Jan Vertonghen were left out from the squad with Mourinho revealing he learned a lot about his players, "I give you clearly a positive example because the positives examples are easier.
"Today I learn a lot about Foyth, he didn’t play one minute with me until today and I learn more in this 90 minutes than in two or three weeks of work without playing.
"So no conclusions, but information. Of course we played against a very good team and it’s the best test when you play against good players and good teams."
