High Flying Nkwazi midfielder Steven Mutama has extended his stay with Nkwazi after signing a new two-year contract.
The new deal will see Mutama stay at the Zambia Police sponsored out-fit until December 2021.
Despite Nkwazi not doing well Mutama has been putting up great performances winning the man of the match award in more than three matches.
Mutama says he has extended his stay at Nkwazi because he feels at home and wants to learn from experienced players like William Njobvu and Sebastian Mwansa.
"I love the team and I want to push the club to a different level. I feel at home here," he said.
"Me staying here will help me grow in terms of football. We have a young side and some few players that have been around and I want to learn from them, for example, Sebastian Mwansa, William Njobvu to mention but a few."
Nkwazi’s next encounter is a rescheduled Week 11 encounter against Lusaka Dynamos on Wednesday at the Edwin Imboela Stadium.
