High Flying Nkwazi will be looking to end their eleven matches winless run when they welcome fellow struggling side KYSA at Edwin Imboela Stadium on Friday in a week 16 MTN/FAZ Super League encounter.
Nkwazi last won a match over three months ago when they beat Sensational Zanaco 3-2 on September 25th and ever since they only managed to pick up seven points from a possible 33.
The visitors, KYSA are coming from back to back defeats and are also looking to get back to winning ways as they aim to move closer to escaping the claws of the relegation zone.
Nkwazi sits in 16th place with only ten points to their name while KYSA a just one point behind in 17th place.
Nkwazi looked very dangerous in their last match, A 1-0 loss to Nkana away at the Nkana Stadium. Coach Dennis Makinka will be aiming to build on that performance and possibly score their first goal in ten games.
Emmanuel Chabula has had a slow start to the season but will fancy his chances against a KYSA defense that conceded six goals in their last weekend at home.
KYSA may be struggling but they are no pushovers and have a number of players that can open up the Michael Bwalya led Nkwazi defense. Daniel Chama and Ghanaian Moro Umenu make up a troublesome combination that will surely keep Nkwazi on their toes.
