Former AFC Leopards coach lands new job with Yanga

Former AFC Leopards tactician Luc Eymael has been appointed the new Young Africans (Yanga) head coach, replacing Boniface Mkwasa.

Yanga parted ways with Mwinyi Zahera last year who joined the club in the 2017-2018 season from Congolese outfit Darling Club Motema Pembe as Mkwasa took over on interim basis.

Eymael joined AFC Leopards back in 2013 but his stint at the Den failed to last more than five months as he took over Rwandan side Rayon Sports months after his sacking.

The Belgian coach has been a journeyman in Africa as he has been in charge of three clubs in the last seven months.

The 60-year old parted ways with Egyptian side El Gaish FC back in July before joining Black Leopards in South Africa in September and has now signed for Yanga.
