Former Orlano Pirates striker Morrison joins Tanzanian giants

Tanzanian giants Yanga SC have on Tuesday announced the signing of former Orlando Pirates striker Bernard Morrison.

The Ghanaian joins the Tanzanian side from South Africa Premier Soccer League becoming Luc Eymael's first signing since relocating to Dar es Salaam.

Eymael joined Yanga on a short-term deal as the former Tanzanian league champions chase both domestic and continental honours this season.

Morrison has also played for Ashanti Gold in Ghana and Congolese giants AS Vita. The Buccaneers beat Mamelodi Sundowns to his signature in 2016.

Eymael is a long-time admirer of the burly striker having failed to lure him to Black Leopards in South Africa. Eymael could hand Morrison his first start when Yanga takes on Kagera Sugar in a Mainland Premier League match on Wednesday.
