Kariobangi Sharks release statement on Duke Abuya

Kenyan Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks has released a statement on Duke Abuya after the midfielder joined Zambian side Nkana FC. 

Abuya joined Nkana as a free agent after leaving Kariobangi Sharks at the start of the year. The midfielder started training with the club last week and his impressive outing allowed Nkana him to join other Kenyans in Duncan Otieno, Harun Shakava and Musa Mohammed in the team.

Sharks have confirmed Abuya's exit on their official website wishing the midfielder best of luck.

"Duke Abuya has left the club on mutual consent after his contract came to an end. The midfielder joins Zambian side Nkana Football Club," a statement read.

"We are grateful for the dedicated service he offered while at the club and wish him the best I’m his future endeavors."

Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia were interested in his services but a deal could not be reached between the two clubs.
