AC Milan are currently in the transfer market as they look to bolster the squad in hopes of improving their position on the Serie A table.
The main position they have been looking for is a full-back with Ricardo Rodriguez set to leave the club before the close of the January transfer window.
The Milan directors are believed to be toying around with the idea of bringing in a low-cost experienced player or one with great potential.
The player who has emerged as a target is 22-year-old Antonee Robinson currently playing for Wigan Athletic who has been tipped as a player with great potential and the club could get him on a reasonable fee.
According to Calciomercato, Robinson would be the ideal fit to play alongside Theo Hernandez who has been an outstanding player for Milan this season.
However, the youngster can only be brought to the club if Rodriguez and Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce are able to strike a deal which has reportedly been blocked by the Financial Fair Play.
Robinson has reportedly agreed to make the move to Italy but for now, he has to be on standby until the financial matters are cleared.
