Arsenal agree deal to sign France international in the summer

Arsenal will secure Layvin Kurzawa on a free transfer this summer when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires, according to reports.

The 27-year-old has been with the Ligue 1 champions since signing from rivals Monaco in 2015.

However, France Football reports that the left-back is set for a new challenge in the Premier League with the Gunners.

It’s claimed the defender is in ‘advanced negotiations’ with the North London side with a five-year deal thought to have been agreed.

Inter Milan was also reportedly interested in the 12-time international but he looks to have chosen a move to Mikel Arteta’s side.

Kurzawa has started just six league matches for PSG this term, with Juan Bernat establishing himself as the club’s first choice.

Prior to his move to the French capital, the full-back spent eight years with Monaco, helping them win the Ligue 2 title in 2013.
