Gor Mahia to miss dependable defender in Bandari test

Gor Mahia will miss the services of dependable defender Geoffrey Ochieng when they take on Bandari FC in week 19 of the Kenyan Premier League action.

Ochieng yellow cards have accumulated to six in the season with coach Steve Pollack having no option but to look for a better replacement in the game.

It’s not only Gor who will be missing a player in the week as Ulinzi Stars will have to do with their top marksman Oscar Wamalwa when they entertain Tusker FC with the player having the same predicaments as Ochieng’s.

Other players who will be sitting out in week 19 are Nzoia Sugar FC’s Ian Karani and Kakamega Homeboyz’ Festus Okiring when they come against Zoo FC and Kariobangi Sharks respectively.

Apart from the five players, a total of eleven players are one yellow card away from missing the next game.

The Players on Four Yellow Cards include:

  • Andrew Juma (Mathare United)
  • Lawrence Juma (Gor Mahia)
  • Allan Katwe (Sofapaka FC)
  • Jeconia Ogendo (Kisumu All-Stars)
  • Patilah Omoto (Kariobangi Sharks)
