Napsa Stars missed a chance to go top of the log as suffered a two-nil loss away in Solwezi while Nkwazi dropped back into the relegation zone after they played to a 1-1 draw with Kabwe Warriors.
Napsa Stars traveled to Solwezi aiming to leapfrog Green Eagles and open a two-point lead at the summit since the Kawale Boys were into in action this afternoon as their opponents, Sensational Zanaco have a CAF engagement tomorrow.
Kansanshi Dynamos, on the other hand, were aiming to escape the claws of the relegation zone. Former Nkana midfielder Jacob Ngulube put the Mabanga boys in the lead at the half-hour mark while Walford Sikanyika sealed the result in the dying minutes as Kansanshi recorded an emphatic 2-0 win.
The win means Kansanshi Dynamos move out of the relegation while Napsa Stars remains in second place.
Meanwhile, Nkwazi has dropped back into the relegation zone after they played out to a 1-1 draw with Kabwe Warriors. New acquisition Kenneth Kasanga drew Nkwazi level two minutes after Ali Sadiki had put the Magnificent People's team in the lead.
Kabwe Warriors could have won the match but they were denied a goal after Mathews Nkhowani's shot hit the crossbar and bounced over the line to get back into play but the match officials missed the goal.
Television replays indicated the ball crossing the line. In the end, Warriors and Nkwazi settled for a point each.
At the same venue in the second match of the day, Abas Abeofah scored the only goal of the game as Lumwana Radiants shocked Red Arrows, 1-0 denying the Airmen a chance to reduce the gap between them and the top five teams.
In Kabwe, KYSA's problems have continued as they made six straight losses following a 1-0 loss to Forest Rangers this afternoon.
